I am currently partnered with a highly innovative start-up in Berlin, who are seeking their first legal hire for their expanding corporate functions division. In this role, you will report directly to the board. Tasks: Providing sound legal advice across Corporate & Commercial projects. Building and implementing a Compliance Management System. Coordination of external support (lawyers, compliance representatives, external DPO etc). First point of contact of all internal queries relating to legal and compliance. Draft, review & negotiate regional and international commercial agreements. Your profile: Fully qualified German Lawyer with 2 state exams. At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in either a law firm or company. Fluency in both German and English. Prior experience within the financial services sector is desired, but not essential. Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a keen interest in working closely with executive personnel.
