ROLE PURPOSE We are looking for a legal director to join us in our offices in Munich, Germany or Uxbridge, UK. You are qualified to practice law in either of the two jurisdictions and have at least five years of experience from the life sciences industry. Proficiency in both German and English is a prerequisite. Experience from working in a cross jurisdictional environment is a plus. As legal director you will as part of and in close collaboration with the country leadership teams be responsible for ensuring that all legal matters within the sphere of local operations are adequately resolved. You will report to the head of the International Legal Team. The international legal team is part of the Global Legal function. The legal director is expected to possess a solid degree of commercial savviness in addition to a well-developed legal generalist toolbox. Namely you will be responsible for contract drafting and negotiation, advising on compliance, marketing law, business development projects, IP, Privacy, legal governance, and regulatory matters. You will also be required to managing disputes and litigations, providing internal training on relevant legal and compliance topics as needed and overseeing external counsel and budget.
