Position Title: Compliance Specialist - Sanctions Location: Frankfurt, Germany Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Monitor evolving sanctions regulations, updating internal policies and standards. Advisory Support: Provide guidance on sanctions compliance and respond to inquiries within the organisation. Collaboration: Work with the Global Financial Crime Team to analyse sanctions risks and implement mitigation strategies. Communication: Inform the organisation on critical sanctions issues, including legislative updates. Regulatory Liaison: Act as a primary contact for regulatory authorities, addressing official inquiries in the sanctions field. Qualifications: Education: Law degree, including 1st and 2nd state exams Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a global financial institution, law firm, or financial consultancy- with a focus on financial sanctions. Expertise: Knowledge of international sanctions regulations, trade law, and export controls. Skills: Proficiency in English, MS Office, and a strong communication skills
