In this key role, you willdeliver security as a service to our operational sites across theend-to-end supply chain to protect our people and prevent loss. Keyjob responsibilities • Support resilience of our businessoperations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning forsites within your area of responsibility • Contribute to theidentification of vulnerabilities (e.g., loss, associateexperience, process improvement) and define appropriate mitigatingactions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards• Serve as point of contact for and coordinate measures to managerisk with local management and external stakeholder (e.g., lawenforcement agencies and industry associations) on allsecurity-related matters • Ensure compliance of your assigned siteswith Amazon global security standards • Own Security and LossPrevention-related projects on the local, regional, and countrylevel A day in the life As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you willjoin a team of Security and Loss Prevention professionals providingsecurity as a service to business customers across multiplebusiness units within a dedicated geographical area. You performregular physical security audits and investigate policy violations,security-related incidents, and loss events. During yourinvestigations, you collect information by monitoring systems andtools, analysing data reports, and conducting interviews. Yourfindings contribute to identifying vulnerabilities in our processesand you identify and drive mitigating measures. You play a key rolein maintaining the physical integrity of our sites by auditing andmonitoring the health status of our systems and, jointly withsubject matter experts and external suppliers, maintain theirfunctionality. Furthermore, you identify and act upon initiativesimproving our physical security infrastructure and contributedirectly to the budgetary planning for our external suppliers. Youinteract on a daily basis with our external security serviceproviders to ensure delivery of high-quality security services anda smooth customer experience. Finally, you deliver lossprevention-related education and awareness programs to other teamsacross all management levels and manage the implementation of ourSecurity and Loss Prevention plan. About the team Sitting withinthe Global Security Operations organization, Security and LossPrevention supports the accomplishment of Amazon´s business targetsand the strengthening of our brand by effectively protectingagainst relevant threats and by managing security and lossprevention risks that could: • Put our associates and customersunder jeopardy • Disrupt the continuity of our business operations• Inflict damage to our assets • Have adverse impact on our brandreputation Working in partnership with our stakeholders, we securethe Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promote security duringbusiness conversations. We do this by preventing security and lossprevention-related risks and vulnerabilities as early as possible,intervening in unfolding incidents to minimize any negative impactas well as thoroughly investigating security-related incidents toidentify and remove root causes, preventing re-occurrence.GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN • A degree or degree equivalent • Relevantsecurity- or risk-related experience (e.g., security services,asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventorymanagement, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance, orsimilar) • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite(Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment • Advancedproficiency in written and verbal German. • Upper intermediateproficiency in written and verbal English.
