The Senior IP Counsel(Biochemical Assays, Dyes, Reagents, and Imaging Technologies) isresponsible for developing and implementing an IP strategy for ourportfolio of Biochemical Assays, Dyes, Reagents, and ImagingTechnologies. This role involves preparing (mainly using outsidecounsel), maintaining, defending, and enforcing intellectualproperty rights for the Life Science Research Division. Theposition significantly impacts the organization by activelyparticipating in product definition and development based oncompetitive intelligence, and by conducting due diligence for theacquisition of new companies to strengthen market position anddefend against third-party challenges.
This position reports to theChief IP Counsel and is part of the IP department l ocated inWetzlar or Mannheim and will be an on-site role.
