With a reputation for excellence and a workforce of thousands operating across the continent, they play a vital role in delivering mission-critical infrastructure for hyperscalers and enterprise clients alike.

The firm is now looking for an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Lead to oversee a major build in Germany (Berlin), supporting a global technology client on a cutting-edge Data Centre facility with over 50MW capacity.

The Data Centre project is now entering the MEP fit-out and commissioning phase, and we’re looking for someone to lead from the front—technically sharp, highly organised, and ready to drive performance from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead all mechanical commissioning operations with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance
• Oversee functional performance testing for mechanical infrastructure (AHUs, chillers, VRFs, BAS, and water systems)
• Manage and guide a team of mechanical commissioning engineers
• Develop, review, and approve all mechanical test procedures and schedules
• Coordinate closely with project managers, vendors, and site contractors
• Provide clear daily progress reporting and issue resolution updates
• Ensure QA/QC standards are upheld throughout commissioning

Requirements for the Role:

• 3+ years of mechanical or MEP commissioning experience in mission-critical environments, preferably Data Centres.
• Proven experience on hyperscale data centre projects
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Level 4 commissioning
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Strong leadership, planning, and reporting capabilities
• Available to mobilise immediately in Berlin
• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment
