Our Defense Industry client in Baden-Württemberg are looking for a Freelance Embedded Software Engineer for a sensor development and integration project. Initial contract length 6 months. Must be 80% onsite.

Requirements:

• Embedded C/C++ programming
• Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS): e.g., VxWorks, QNX, FreeRTOS
• Microcontroller and FPGA programming: e.g., ARM Cortex, Xilinx
• Device drivers development (especially for radar, lidar, EO/IR sensors)
• Embedded Linux: Kernel development, BSP (Board Support Packages)
• Signal processing algorithms
• Communication protocols: CAN, Ethernet, SPI, UART
• Safety/security ciritical standards
• Must speak German and English fluently
