Field Service Technician
Remotely based in the North-Rhine Westphalia region
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of equipment and systems at customer locations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong customer service skills. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing a variety of advanced equipment, ensuring they operate at peak performance and deliver optimal service for our clients.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using analytical skills and specialized tools.
• Provide technical support to customers, offering solutions and advice for efficient equipment use.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate service reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and safety.
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients, demonstrating reliability and expertise.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Fluency in German is essential, along with good communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, as required.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
