Position: Financial Assistant – Cryptocurrency
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Assistant – Cryptocurrency to support the financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning of our cryptocurrency portfolio. This role requires strong financial acumen combined with a solid understanding of blockchain technology and digital asset markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Management
- Monitor and manage the company’s cryptocurrency portfolio, tracking asset value, allocation, and performance.
- Execute trades, transfers, and conversions in line with defined investment strategies and risk management guidelines.
- Regularly assess portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to align with the company's financial goals.
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports on cryptocurrency-related activities for internal stakeholders.
- Report on key financial metrics such as unrealized gains/losses, trading volumes, and wallet balances.
- Analyze trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities or potential concerns.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper classification and recording of cryptocurrency transactions.
3. Financial Strategy Development
- Support the development of financial strategies related to the company’s cryptocurrency initiatives.
- Provide insights on financing options and long-term growth strategies based on market analysis and financial modeling.
- Evaluate the financial viability of new cryptocurrency projects, partnerships, and investments through feasibility studies and impact assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, portfolio management, or accounting, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset trading.
- Familiarity with various cryptocurrencies, trading platforms, and wallet management systems.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, financial software).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to cryptocurrency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
