The ImpactYou’ll Make in this Role
As anAccountant (m/f/*), you will have the opportunity to tap into yourcuriosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative anddiverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impactby:

• Analysingfinancial data provided by the shared service centre to identifytrends, variances, and areas for improvement. Providing insightsand recommendations to different departments, shared service centerand management

• Supporting in the preparation of tax returns,compliance with tax laws and regulations as required, and providingsupport during tax audits

• Assisting with internal and externalaudits, including preparing audit schedules, providingdocumentation, and addressing audit findings

• Monitoring internalcontrols related to financial processes and transactions, ensuringcompliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and bestpractices. Identifying control weaknesses and recommendingcorrective actions

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulationsand internal and external standards (US-GAAP, statutory GAAP andGFS)

• Preparing and compiling internal andgovernmental statistical reports in accordance with establishedguidelines, formats, and deadlines. Ensuring that all requiredinformation is included and presentedaccurately

Your Skills andExpertise
To set you up for success inthis role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) thefollowing qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, orrelated field

• Expert in accounting or financeroles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accountingsoftware (e.g. SAP, Oracle)

• Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills

• Fluent in English andGerman

Inaddition to the above requirements, the following are alsorequired:

• Excellent communication and interpersonalskills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meetdeadlines effectively

• Ability to work in cross-functionalteams

• Well-organized with ability toprioritize
