Based in the beautiful Friedrichschafen, an internationally pioneering company is offering an unparalleled Senior Embedded Linux Developer role.

At the epitome of the Satellite and Communications field, this company develops highly-intricate and innovative products for the Aerospace and Broadcasting/Multimedia industry. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Senior Embedded Linux Developer to utilize their specialist skills and fuel the progression of the product and company.

Responsibilities

• Development of applications onto Embedded Linux systems
• Development and implementation of software architectures and concepts for next-gen products
• Development of products in Satellite and Microcontroller projects
• Coordination of projects (Project Management)
• Work cross-functionally with the integration and verification teams

Desired Skills and Experience

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5+ years experience working in Embedded Linux as well as being aware of the constraints/parameters
• Excellent experience in C language, with some experience in C++ being beneficial
• Experience with networking, such as socket programming, wireless communications etc.
• Experience in Yocto, and DSP is a bonus
• Fluent in English and German
