Summary. The Regional HR Leader plays a critical role in implementing and executing the global HR strategy, policies, and programs on regional level within a centralized HR structure. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role ensures alignment with global HR objectives while addressing regional-specific needs. The leader acts as a bridge between global and regional/local HR and is a business partner to multinational functions, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities/Main Tasks
HR Strategy & Alignment
- Implement global HR strategies and initiatives at the regional level, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with the global HR team to ensure policies and processes meet regional requirements while maintaining global consistency.
- Provide insights on regional labor laws, market trends, and workforce dynamics to influence global HR strategies.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with corporate talent acquisition teams to drive regional recruitment efforts, ensuring talent needs are met.
- Support workforce planning and succession planning efforts in coordination with global HR.
- Ensure employer branding initiatives align with corporate standards while addressing regional nuances.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regional labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance while aligning with global HR policies.
- Implement global HR policies and procedures while ensuring they are adapted appropriately for local requirements.
Performance Management & Talent Development
- Support the implementation of global performance management programs, ensuring consistent execution in the region.
- Drive learning and development initiatives aligned with global training programs.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning efforts in coordination with global HR.
Compensation & Benefits Coordination
- Partner with global compensation and benefits teams to ensure regional pay structures and benefits align with global policies.
- Provide regional market insights to support competitive compensation strategies.
- Ensure proper implementation of payroll, benefits administration, and rewards programs.
HR Operations & Process Improvement
- Ensure HR service delivery efficiency by collaborating with shared services or HR Centers of Excellence (COEs)
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to assess regional workforce trends and support data-driven decision-making.
- Drive process standardization and automation initiatives to improve HR operational effectiveness.
Change Management & Employee Engagement
- Lead HR aspects of organizational changes, mergers, or restructuring efforts in the region.
- Champion corporate culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives within the region.
- Act as an advocate for employees, fostering a positive work environment aligned with company values.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience in a centralized or functional HR structure within a multinational organization.
