SciNova are excited to be partnered alongside a key player in the European Life Sciences market who offer a unique portfolio of products and services for the Biopharmaceutical and IVD markets which are sold all around the world. The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with both industry and academic customers throughout Germany. You will represent my clients entire product portfolio and collaborate closely with the other AM's to achieve strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented individual with a passion for Life Sciences and a proven track record in exceeding sales objectives.
My client is searching for someone with a unique blend of scientific expertise and commercial acumen, therefore it's essential that you will hold a MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry etc.).
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within industry and academia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end-customers through regular communication and engagement activities.
- Provide product education and support to end-customers, ensuring a deep understanding of my clients portfolio and its value proposition.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges within the territory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and R&D to develop and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Utilise CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate accurate forecasts.
Role requirements:
- MSc or PhD in a scientific discipline.
- 5+ years' minimum of relevant industry experience generated within the Life Sciences (Biotech/Diagnostics/Biopharma) industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to have technical discussions with scientific end-customers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Results driven.
- Fluent English and German is essential.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
