Job Description:

The Resolute Group is supporting an international engineering consultancy in their search for a General Manager to lead their Frankfurt office. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing office performance, developing high-performing teams, and expanding the client base across Germany.

You will combine operational and commercial leadership with a technical understanding of the German construction and engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Frankfurt office
• Align local performance with group strategy and business goals
• Drive business development and strengthen client relationships
• Ensure legal, health & safety, and policy compliance
• Oversee engineering project delivery, quality, and profitability
• Support project workflows, resource planning, and issue resolution
• Manage office financials including budgets, KPIs, and forecasts
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture
• Represent the company in client meetings, events, and industry forums

Experience:

• Proven leadership experience within the German construction or engineering industry
• Track record of managing multidisciplinary technical teams
• Strong background in project delivery, financial oversight, and operational leadership
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
• Experience ensuring compliance with German regulations and industry standards
• Familiarity with consultancy or design engineering environments
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
