This is a hybrid / remote working opportunity for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer with our established Semiconductor client based in Germany.
With offices in Baden-Württemberg, our expanding client is leading the market within high-speed interconnect technology. They are looking for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join them and own the development of analog/mixed-signal and full-custom building blocks. You can work fully remotely, or onsite.
As the Principal Analog IC Design Engineer, you will take charge of:
- The complete design and implementation phase of analog/mixed-signal and full-custom circuits including schematics, layout, test benches and simulation
- Supporting the verification team in creating functional and real-number models (RNM)
- Supporting layout implementation
- Continuously improving an innovative and automated full-custom work-flow
- Supporting successful and on-time product release
For this role, the following is needed:
- A number of years’ experience as an Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer
- Expertise within Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre and Spice simulations
- Skills within Assembler, Python and TCL, Full-custom layout implementation, advanced process nodes is a plus (FDSOI, FinFet)
- An understanding of Serializer/Deserializer design and related functionality (PLL, analog frontend) is beneficial
