Our client is one of the leaders in the wind energy industry- in both product manufacturing, O&M and construction services. We are now looking for an experienced (2-5 years) Claims Manager that will have the chance to support different teams in this area globally. In this role, you will manage and resolve claims with our subcontractors and supplier during the service period of global fleet . This is a great chance to gain experience on an international basis.

Additionally, you will have to find new solutions for new challenges every day, and will work in a multicultural environment.

YOUR TASKS

• Investigating claims and determining liability in accordance with our contracts as well as any applicable laws and regulations
• Negotiating claims with supplier and subcontractor in cooperation with sourcing
• Drafting of notices of liability, claims and settlement agreements, in cooperation with the service regions and service back-office team as well as our Sourcing, Legal and Insurance departments
• Maintaining records of all claims and related documentation
• Supporting Service Regions in claim activities
• Analyze and report our claims, effectively communicate the resulting "lessons learned" within the company and optimize our claim and contract management process

YOUR PROFILE

• Studies in business administration, law, or alternatively industrial engineering or other relevant experience/ background
• Practical experience in claim management or similar background
• You have a strong interest in complex, technical issues and have a good eye for details
• You are not afraid to give your opinion and stand your ground
• You enjoy working in international teams
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
• German, Portuguese or Spanish as an additional language will be a plus
