Salary: €70,000.00


FLYTE® have partnered with a forward-thinking company near Munich, Germany, specializing in the development of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for critical applications, including medical, military, logistics, evacuation, and rescue missions.

This rapidly expanding organisation recently unveiled their flagship UAV, designed specifically for medical evacuation and transportation in hazardous environments. Praised for its ability to deliver fast, safe transport in conflict zones and remote areas, the UAV has been a game-changer in improving survival rates during high-risk operations.

We are seeking high-profile Senior/ Lead Flight Control & Dynamics Engineer, responsible to lead the design, implementation and validation of aircraft models and control algorithms utilising your unique skills in Control theory, flight control, flight dynamics and MBSE (model-based design).


Responsibilities

  • Flight Controls Design: Develop and optimize flight control algorithms for various UAV platforms, including fixed-wing, rotorcraft, and hybrid configurations.
  • Flight Dynamics Modeling: Create and refine flight dynamics models to simulate UAV behaviour under various conditions and scenarios, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Autonomous Systems: Collaborate on the integration of autonomous flight systems, including navigation, guidance, and control for fully autonomous UAV operations.
  • Simulation and Testing: Conduct rigorous flight simulations to validate control systems and flight performance. Analyze real-world flight data and adjust models to improve accuracy and robustness.
  • Safety & Functionality: Ensure that everything is perfectly aligned before an aircraft takes off. This includes verifying that all the components are in order, including physical models, data, and technical interfaces to ensure that every detail is double-checked to guarantee safety and functionality
  • Interfacing and integration: All systems- particularly the inner loop physics and powertrain interactions
