Data Analytics Expert – Safety-Related Systems

Your Role

- Embrace an innovation-driven mindset to explore new approaches for achieving safer autonomous driving systems, pushing the boundaries of current data analysis methods.

- Extract key insights on vehicle traffic patterns from extensive datasets covering both autonomous and human-driven scenarios.

- Identify and substantiate safety-related arguments using real-world data analysis.

- Develop effective verification and validation measures, as well as data collection requirements, to support evidence-based safety assessments.

- Stay informed about the latest technologies in data analytics, including AI-driven methods, as well as relevant industry standards, regulations, trends, and emerging best practices.

Your areas of expertise

- MSc. or PhD. Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.

- Solid experience in data analytics, statistical methods, and probabilistic modelling applied to large-scale datasets.

- Strong background in techniques such as Bayesian analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, sensitivity analysis, and data mining (or similar).

- Practical experience in using data analytics for risk estimation and quantification in safety-critical and regulated environments.

- Proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is considered an advantage.

- Willingness to travel
