Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager in Germany. This fully remote position offers the exciting opportunity to grow into a Branch Manager role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local market and a proven track record in sales, particularly in air and ocean freight solutions. This is a hunting role, focused on expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. The candidate must be willing to travel to meet customers and build strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the air and ocean freight market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Travel within the region to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Mentor and lead junior sales team members, preparing for future leadership roles.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the air and ocean freight industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market in Germany.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Leadership skills with the potential to grow into a Branch Manager role.
