Head of Networks (M/F/D) - Munich

We are supporting a leading international business that manufactures critical medical equipment, looking for an experienced Head of Networking to oversee and scale its global network infrastructure.

You will lead two teams across multiple regions, define and deliver the company’s networking strategy, and ensure performance, security, and reliability across all operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop international network engineering teams
• Define and implement scalable networking strategies
• Oversee design and delivery of LAN/WAN, VPN, and secure access infrastructure
• Ensure network security, compliance, and business continuity
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and large-scale network projects
• Drive adoption of modern technologies (e.g., Cisco ACI, Fortinet firewalls, Secure Access solutions)

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, 6+ in leadership roles
• Proven experience managing global teams and enterprise-scale infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of network security, architecture, and vendor ecosystems
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco and Fortinet technologies
• Fluent in German and English
