Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global metals trading firm looking to hire a Refractory Sales Engineer to join their commercial team in Germany.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and grow the existing steel industry customer portfolio while identifying and onboarding new clients.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on refractory product selection and tailored solutions.
  • Oversee technical and commercial customer visits, including supervising installations and trial follow-ups.
  • Develop quotations, lead negotiations, and manage the order process efficiently.
  • Monitor market trends, devise sales strategies, and represent the company at industry events.


Key Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Metallurgy, Material Science, or Industrial Chemistry) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in refractory technical sales, steel production, or refractory manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of steel production processes and refractory applications.
  • Proven track record in customer relationship management and technical sales within heavy industry.
  • Fluency in German and business-level English (minimum B2); proficient in MS Office and relevant systems.
