Senior Sales Engineer SatCom (m/f/d)
Are you passionate about satellite communications and eager to shape the future of ground systems? In this role, you will play a key part in business development and technology assessment for SatCom terminals and ground stations
Your Tasks
- Developing new business opportunities and evaluating innovative technologies in satellite communications
- Leading and managing proposal projects for ground systems in space and satellite communications
- Technical pre-design and project planning in close collaboration with technical and commercial departments
- Supporting contract negotiations with international customers
- Conducting small-scale studies on future technologies and market developments
- Establishing and maintaining customer relationships with research institutions, industry partners, and agencies
- Representing the company at trade fairs and conferences
Your Qualifications
- Completed technical degree, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering, communications engineering, or aerospace
- Solid knowledge in satellite communications
- Professional experience in project or product sales is an advantage
- Experience in project management and systems engineering is desirable
- Knowledge of the customer and supplier market is a plus
- Strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial mindset
- High problem-solving ability, creativity, and teamwork skills
- Innovative thinking as well as a structured and organized working approach
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
