Site Foreman – Bavaria, Germany

Fluent German speaking (Mandatory)

Project Overview:

SudOstLink is a major German energy infrastructure project under the Energiewende initiative, involving the construction of a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) underground cable system connecting Saxony-Anhalt and Bavaria. The goal is to transmit renewable wind energy from northern Germany to southern industrial regions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily on-site activities related to HVDC infrastructure works
• Coordinate teams and subcontractors in piling, dredging, trenching, and earthworks
• Ensure work complies with German standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Monitor progress, quality, and report to site/project management
• Troubleshoot technical and logistical issues on-site
• Liaise with engineers, planners, and local authorities as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a foreman on HVDC, energy, or large civil infrastructure projects
• Specific background in piling, earthworks, or dredging
• German language fluency (spoken and written)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Bavaria
