The Role and Candidate
We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Executive, based in Berlin, to help drive brand visibility and local engagement in the German market. This role plays a key part in bringing POP MART’s brand to life through digital campaigns, content creation, KOL/influencer partnerships, and on-the-ground activations. Reporting to the Europe Regional Marketing Team and working closely with teams in Berlin and HQ in Beijing, you’ll contribute to locally relevant marketing execution that aligns with our global vision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing events, including product launches, store openings, and customer engagement campaigns
- Support the identification, development, and management of strategic partnerships with influencers, media outlets, and relevant brands within the pop culture and collectibles sector
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of integrated ATL and BTL marketing campaigns, ensuring cohesive messaging across direct marketing, sales promotions, print, and billboard advertising
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, with a focus on optimising social media campaigns across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Monitor digital marketing performance, analyse metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize engagement, brand reach, and ROI
- Collaborate closely with retail operations, merchandising, and business development teams to ensure synergy in marketing efforts
- Conduct market research to analyse trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape, providing input for strategic marketing decisions
- Maintain effective communication with POP MART's headquarters to ensure that local marketing efforts align with global strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the retail or consumer goods sector
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and current trends
- Fluent in German and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Demonstrated interest in pop culture, collectibles, or designer toys
Desirable but Not Essential
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and SEO optimisation
- Previous experience in a marketing or creative agency environment
- Interest in or understanding of the designer toy market and its associated culture
