The Role


Trident Search is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer in Germany. This pivotal role will be dedicated to empowering the existing channel partners to effectively position, sell, and support cybersecurity solutions. You will act as a technical enablement expert, strengthening partners' capabilities and driving mutual success within the DACH region. Working closely with channel sales team and partner stakeholders, you will be instrumental in translating technical capabilities into compelling business outcomes through the partner network.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Channel Technical Enablement: Develop and deliver technical training programs, workshops, and enablement sessions for channel partners to deepen their understanding of the platform and its value proposition
  • Partner Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with partner sales teams on key opportunities, providing technical guidance, supporting joint presentations, and assisting with complex solution design for their end customers
  • Joint Solution Development: Work with partners to tailor solutions leveraging technology to meet specific customer needs and integrate with their existing offerings.
  • Technical Resource for Partners: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for channel partners in the DACH region, addressing their technical inquiries, providing product updates, and offering best practices.
  • Content and Collateral Development: Contribute to the creation of technical content, such as training materials, solution briefs, and demonstration scripts, specifically tailored for channel partners.
  • Feedback Loop (Channel Focused): Gather technical feedback from channel partners and their customers, communicating this to internal teams to inform product development and improve partner support.
  • Regional Partner Engagement: Act as the technical face of the company for channel partners in the DACH region, with a strong emphasis on Germany, participating in joint partner events, webinars, and strategic meetings.


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering, technical training, or channel enablement role, ideally within the cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or related security technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and familiarity with common security tools (e.g., SIEMs, SOAR platforms, TIPs, firewalls, endpoint solutions) and how they are positioned and sold through channel partners.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written), with exceptional communication skills to effectively train and enable technical and non-technical audiences within partner organisations.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs and enablement content for channel partners.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and partner-centric approach to engagement.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Background in working with channel partners serving enterprise or public sector clients in the DACH region.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, data enrichment workflows, or security operations tools and how partners can leverage them.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar are a plus.
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment or startup setting, with a focus on building strong partner relationships.
