Category Manager for Consulting Services, Hamburg, Germany.

Fluent in German, written and spoken (mandatory).

Hybrid: 4 days/week office, 1 day/week remote.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Category Manager for Consulting Services, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contracting and sourcing consulting services, with a strong focus on optimizing procurement and sourcing processes and delivering value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for contracting and sourcing Consulting services in Germany.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and innovative sourcing solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their consulting service requirements.
• Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate procurement reporting and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Category Management or procurement, with a focus on contracting and sourcing consulting services.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
