We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join a set up in Germany. As a business we are a Energy Trading company focused on developing technologies to optimize trading strategy and improve the fast paced trading environment.

Although the role is Remote, you must be living in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Discover and fix programming bugs

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Development experience with Python
• SQL database or relational database skills
• 10+ Years in Professional Development
• Proficiency in Python, AWS, S3, Lambda, Flask, Mongo
• You are familiar with terms, calculation models and typical key figures from risk management (e.g. VaR, Black Scholes, Monte Carlo, etc.)
• Worked within a Trading environment is ideal
