Job Title: Freelance Solution Architect – Azure Migration

Location: Germany-based / Remote

Rate: €100/hour

Duration: 3–6 months (extendable)

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead an Azure migration from a VMware ExTI environment. The role involves defining cloud architecture, planning migration phases, and supporting delivery teams in a complex enterprise setup.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing VMware environment and define Azure migration strategy
• Design landing zones and migration runbooks
• Provide technical leadership throughout the migration process
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and ensure architecture compliance
• Troubleshoot issues and create detailed technical documentation

Requirements

• Strong background in Azure and VMware (ExTI, vSphere)
• Experience with Azure Migrate, ASR, and automation (PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• Knowledge of Azure networking, identity, and governance
• Fluent in English (German a plus)
