The Opportunity

• This is a unique opportunity to join a Fortune 500 company with very strong financial performance
• They have been extremely successful in the last few years with their platform business model and have scaled up high-growth subscription businesses that are autonomous and highly profitable
• The next chapter in their growth story is a historic investment into transformative AI that will add €200m EBIT

The Role

This is a newly created CDAIO role which is accountable for the following -

1. Creating the Data Strategy and the AI Strategy for the Group
2. Adding €200m EBIT by identifying high value use cases and operational efficiences
3. Building scalable and accelerating Data and AI organisation
4. Taking the business on the journey with transformative AI
5. Engaging with the Supervisory Board and public markets

The Candidate

1. Chief or VP level in a large industry company or Partner level in Professional Services
2. Experience of creating and executing a Strategy in Data and AI and leading large scale CapEx programs in AI, DevOps, ML, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Science and Data Analytics
3. Track record in building scalable Data and AI organisations in large companies €10bn+ revenues
4. Transformation experience
5. Product mindset
6. Fluent German and English
7. STEM major e.g. Computer Science, Maths, Physics
8. Resident in Germany and happy to be in the HQ in the South of Germany 50% of the time
