A leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Associate to join its Capital Structure Advisory team in Frankfurt. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact mandates across debt advisory, leveraged finance, and private credit, supporting clients through complex capital structure decisions and strategic financing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead the execution of debt advisory and capital raising mandates, including refinancings, recapitalizations, and acquisition financings.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess capital structure alternatives, covenant capacity, and debt sizing.
- Conduct market and credit analysis across leveraged finance and private credit landscapes.
- Prepare client-facing materials including information memoranda, management presentations, and lender documentation.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage communication with clients, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior team members on business development and cross-border transaction execution.
Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, debt advisory, leveraged finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical foundation with advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Deep understanding of capital structure dynamics, credit markets, and private debt instruments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and counterparties.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Frankfurt.
