Engineering Manager – Renewable Energy | Solar, Wind, BESS

Location: Remote across Germany

Language: Fluent English and German (Minimum C1)

Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 + 20% bonus

Are you an experienced engineering professional ready to take technical ownership of utility-scale renewable energy projects? A fast-growing, pan-European renewable energy developer is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of its diverse and expanding portfolio across Europe.

Role responsibilities:

• Technical lead across multiple development projects — from early-stage design to financial close and construction.
• Guide technical due diligence on new acquisitions and support internal project teams.
• Collaborate with advisors, suppliers, grid operators, and permitting authorities.
• Optimize layouts, design choices, and technology selection across diverse European markets.

About you:

• Brings strong technical and commercial acumen, within the solar PV, wind, or BESS sectors.
• Understands the full lifecycle of renewable projects from development to commissioning.
• Is confident reviewing technical documentation, managing advisors, and making data-driven decisions.
• Has a relevant engineering background; Civils, Electrical or Mechanical.
• Software: AutoCAD & Pvsyst (minimum expectations)
• Fluent in German (C1+ as a minimum)
