An expanding German-based Automotive client is looking for a Legal Specialist to join their team based in Nuremberg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a legal role, ideally within Warranty, Resource, or a comparable legal function. Key Responsibilities: Independently handle and enforce warranty claims against suppliers Assess liability and claim amounts in collaboration with internal teams Prepare formal claim correspondence and manage supplier negotiations Agree on settlements and compensation arrangements Coordinate billing processes and negotiate with third parties, including insurers Provide legal support for standard recourse and contractual matters Draft and review quality-related supplier agreements Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Legal, and After Sales teams Qualifications: LL.B. in Law, Business Law, or related field (or Business Administration with legal focus) Minimum 2 years’ experience in warranty, recourse, or comparable legal functions Fluent in German and English, with strong negotiation skills Solid knowledge of warranty law, AGB, and contract drafting Strong analytical and technical understanding, ideally in trucks, buses, drive batteries, or combustion engines Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach Willingness to travel occasionally and intercultural competence If this sounds of interest, please don’t hesitate to contact Lewis @ ARM on +44 2392 228237 or via E-mail on Lewis.Dunn@ARM.co.uk.
